Hare’s have always been a favorite of mine to work on.
Built up by felting core wool over a wire armature. Once I was happy with the shape (a week later!) the natural blended corriedale wool was added on top, mounted on to a piece of aged railway sleeper. The extra little details of the ladybird and snail are made from polymer clay.
The Jackolope is my favorite. A mythical Hare with antlers. Whose story originates in North American folk-law. His antlers were made from wire and polymer clay.
